For refugees and immigrants in need, I can make a FREE home visit.
I'd love to meet you and figure out if there's any way you need support.
I'm cheerful, friendly presence and can guide you on your journey towards a safe and healthy birth.
Some examples of how I might be able to help include, but are not limited to:
- Help you find a culturally sensitive care provider
- listening and emotional support
- connect you with local resources
-Answer questions and offer professional advice regarding pregnancy
- help you understand your body and the process of labor
- help you with whatever unique way you may need support.
When we first moved to South Africa, I was 35-weeks pregnant with my second child. I learned first-hand the challenges of learning a new place, speaking a new language, and navigating a different medical system. Now that we're back in the USA, my husband and I are volunteers with GROW ESL program, and we love meeting people from all over the world. My passion is helping women and families connect with local resources, and to provide affordable access to birth services.

Breastfeeding Resource Center - Affordable prenatal education, support groups for new mothers, and virtual and in-person help from qualified lactation counselors (IBCLC).

GROW ESL - Helping immigrants thrive through conversational English classes, life skills and friendship. Two locations in Northeast Philadelphia. Offering beginners to advanced classes are in the spring and fall, and classes are very affordable!
